Tim O'Reilly, founder of the O'Reilly publishing empire has written a great article entitled Piracy is Progressive Taxation regarding the continuing controversy over online file sharing and also discusses copyright infringement in a posting on his blog. With so many heavyweights joining the copyright argument on the side of fair use (including Courtney Love), how long can the big record companies and the movie companies hold out?
