This is slightly later than it should have been, but the other day, the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 had a shockingly one-sided piece on copyright expiration in Europe (leaning heavily to the entertainment industry's 'extend copyright in Europe forever!' line). The CDR thread on this makes for interesting reading, as does some of the comments on the Today message board.
