I know that new Mozilla-based applications such as Firebird and Thunderbird are named after cars, but I was amused by this New Orleans Times article:

Mozilla is the browser equivalent of a Mercedes-Benz sedan – easy to drive, reliable as the sun and utterly boring to anyone younger than 25

Perhaps only amusing to browser geeks like me, but what the heck! Anything to get Mozilla mentioned in conversation *smile*.
