I went to the Fringe today to see the amazing Bill Bailey. He was on totally top form, and his Portishead version of Zippedy Doo Dah had me in stitches. Bill Bailey is a top comedian doing both stand-up and TV, as the wonderful Black Books proves (I can't wait for the second series to appear on DVD!). I also saw the really rather good Simon Munnery doing some monologues in the second of a trilogy of shows. There's always some really great stuff on at the Fringe – I just wish that I had more of a chance to go and see some of it!
